Andy Baker returns to Southern Heritage - Cleveland Daily Banner

Lee Stewart, Regional President East Region, recently announced the addition of Andy Baker to Southern Heritage Bank’s Commercial Lending Department as vice president of Commercial Lending. 

Baker will be responsible for Treasury Services sales in the East Region, in addition to commercial lending. Stewart made the announcement saying, “Andy’s education and experience give him the skills to help all small business owners with their money management issues and loan needs.”

Baker has moved back to Southern Heritage Bank from BB&T, where he served as market president for two years. He began his banking career at Southern Heritage in 2008 as a teller. 

Baker was promoted to Business Development specialist to provide merchant card services and treasury management services. He was later promoted to Business Banking Officer, serving as relationship manager for small businesses in meeting their financing and treasury management needs.  He also served as a branch manager.

Baker received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Lee University.  He recently completed his MBA at Lee University also.  Baker graduated from the Tennessee Bankers Association School of Banking at Belmont University in July.

He is a graduate of Leadership Cleveland (2013-14), board member of the Ocoee Region Junior Achievement and a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club. He and his wife, Kelsey, live in Cleveland and attend Brainerd Baptist Church. Kelsey is director of Student Success and Retention at Lee University.
